Mesa 17.0.2 for 16.04 & 16.10

Hi, Mesa 17.0.2 backports can now be installed from the updates ppa. Have fun testing, and feel free to file any bugs you find using ‘apport-bug mesa’.

    Is this only for 16.04, not for 16.04.2? I get this :
    libgles1-mesa:
    Depends: libglapi-mesa (=12.0.6-0ubuntu0.16.04.1) but 17.0.2-1ubuntu1~16.04~0.1 is to be installed

    (ubuntu-mate 16.04.2 64bit)

      GLESv1 is gone, you probably have something like vlc installed that still depends on libgles1-mesa

        Hi, thanks. You are right, i can upgrade mesa after remove libgles1-mesa (and vlc).
        And thanks for the ppa..

    I wanted to log a bug that vlc has to be removed to enable Mesa (surely not intended) but you can’t do this with out install the updates from the PPA.
    Sigh.
